Vacation Bible School Parent FAQ

Here is everything you need to know for Vacation Bible School!

is there a cost for vacation bible school?

The VBS experience is free. If you would like to give a donation, you can do so by heading over to our Giving Page. Be sure to specify that your gift is for VBS23!

Alternatively, you can ask an usher or greeter for an offering envelope and put your gift inside, writing "VBS23!" on the envelope. Our usher/greeter will put it in our secure offering lockbox in the sanctuary.

Is any food provided?

Yes! We will provide a meal for children, youth, volunteers, and parents, similar to VBS 2022.

Can parents stay for VBS?

Yes! Parents may grab a bite to eat, get some work done, socialize, or receive prayer. We will also be offering a “Chat & Chew” for parents to see what their children and youth are doing, share, learn, and view resources.  If a parent wishes to stay with a younger child, they may do so, but may only interact with their own child/children they brought because of clearances. If a parent wishes to help they may sign up to volunteer by clicking here.

When and Where should I drop off/pick-up my child?

Signage/Volunteers will direct you to the right door at our main sanctuary building. Please plan to be at the church by 8:25 pm to pick up your child.

You and your child are welcome to come to the church when the doors open at 6 pm for food (free, and while supplies last) and a few activities outdoor and indoor. However, you as the parent/guardian will be responsible for your child until check-in occurs in the narthex, between 6:20-6:30.

Once they are checked in, they will go into the sanctuary and sit with a teacher from their class.

Pick-up:

Around 7 pm each night, each class will leave the sanctuary to go to their small group classroom. At the end of the night, teachers will escort their classes to an assigned space in the Narthex. Parents will pick up their children from the teacher in the Narthex.

Please plan to be at the church by 8:25 pm to pick up your child.
