The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.
My eyes are ever toward the LORD,
For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.

The fear of the LORD has many benefits that pertain to life and godliness. His secret is with those who fear Him, and He will reveal His covenant to us in ways that are clear, so that we get understanding. Things that are hidden from the world are made known to those who fear Him. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. [Proverbs 9:10] When we fear the LORD wisdom and knowledge come to bring us into the understanding of the Holy One.
There are things that are concealed from the world that our eyes are blessed to see because we have a holy reverence for the LORD. Through faith in God we believe that He is able to save us from destruction and keep us from falling into the trap of the wicked one. When we put our trust in Him, the LORD reciprocates by bringing us into His secret place where we can see Him in a way that the world cannot. Jesus said in John 14:17 — the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. The world cannot receive, see or know Him. But we know Him, because He dwells with us and in us.
His promises are with us, as He shows you and I His covenant. Therefore, our eyes should ever be toward Him so that nothing catches us by surprise. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. [Psalm 91:3] He plucks our feet out of the net — no trap that is set for us can work. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, because of your heritage in the LORD.
We are living in an age where the fear of the LORD is replaced by “self help”. Rhonda Byrne wrote a best selling book called the secret. She also wrote a book called The Magic, that ought to tell you something about her beliefs. More than 30 million copies of the secret were sold, because human nature is such, that we want to be in on the secret. Yet the secret of the LORD is available to all who seek Him. In fact, He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. His secret leads us in the way of righteousness and life that is everlasting. There is no magic in Him, there is awesome power that brings magicians to nothing. Unlocking wealth, prosperity and temporal success, but GOD wants so much more for you and me. He wants our lives to be rooted in things that last, like faith, hope and love.
The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. Blessed are your eyes because they see the secret things that are only revealed to those who fear Him. May we like Noah, be moved with fear today and everyday; as we make prayer and supplication for those around us who suffer from spiritual blindness.
