The New Covenant Church of Philadelphia is proud to celebrate it's 40th Anniversary this year. Founded in 1982 by Bishop C. Milton Grannum and Rev. Dr. Hyacinth Bobb Grannum, the New Covenant Church has played an active role in the city of Philadelphia and beyond. Come along with us as we reflect on our journey, celebrating all that God has done for us and all that HE will do through us in the years to come!

A Note from the Anniversary Chairperson
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 3: 13-14)
This year in November 2022, New Covenant Church of Philadelphia will be celebrating our 40th Church Anniversary. As we reflect on our journey, we are mindful that every Christian has a story or testimony of a personal journey. We are the church of Jesus Christ whether we are members, friends, loved ones, or supporters.
The last two years have afforded us all a variety of experiences for which we can honestly say, we were not prepared. In the midst of it all, the Lord has been faithful and has kept His word to us. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who is more than enough for any and every situation. As the scripture says in Romans 8:28, “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those, who are the called according to His purpose.” We have traveled through the valleys and on the mountaintops, and we have seen the hand of our God work on our behalf, personally and corporately, as a community of believers. Thank you so much for the faithful support that you have given to the ministry in so many ways. May the Lord reward you greatly.
While we celebrate the journey of God’s faithfulness and His grace to us these past four decades, we anticipate the future with faith and hope. We are pressing on, reaching toward the next forty years. (Phil. 3:14) I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
With this perspective in mind, we warmly invite you to join us in a personal reflection of our story of faith. Please join our Founding Pastors, Bishop C. Milton Grannum (Ed.D.,D.Min.,Ph.D.), Rev. Hyacinth Bobb Grannum, D.D., and Pastor Bob Oliver, Lady Denise Oliver, and the entire congregation as we celebrate the 40-year journey.
Our leadership and the entire congregation of New Covenant can honestly marvel at the goodness of God these past four decades. God, Himself has led us through it all. Glory to His Name!
